Wow...

Just some thoughts of mine as I read through this wonderful article...if you will.

I am ashamed of what has become of the American Indian. What we as "Americans" have done to shove them aside, if they lived, and gate them up and all but forget about them, the original "Keepers of the Land". We leave them neglected and struggling with chemical dependency and alcoholism. They are scoffed at in public schools, if they dare go there, and are bullied by the "Better Class".

Immigrants, of any nationality, do not bother me...unless they go out of their way to be ignorant towards me or my children.

Patriotism, I believe, is standing behind our children when they decide on their own to join the US ARMY, no matter what I think about the war machine. I know the girls mean well and wish to help the Iraqi and Afghan people regain the "normal" life. It is our girls future as well of our nations future they are fighting for.

As for this years election, it appears to me that the powers that be are the ones stirring the racial divide. I do not care what color/race the next president is, however, I do care if they want to use their "Disadvantage" to complain about how their people were treated back when. Last night the "Rev" Jesse Jackson said some horrible things about Barack Obama, now the "Rev" Al Sharpton is defending his remarks...I don't get that at all. Thankfully, Jackson's son, whom is on Barack Obama's team, decided to scold his father. As for Mr. McCain, his ag seems to be a bigger issue vs. the color of the opposition.
May the less flip-flop wearer be the winner and may their GOD guide them and our country to a peaceful time.

Very good and though provoking work of the mind, please keep it up.
